Leaving to go to NC Today for Job Training

Today is the day I leave for NC (headed to airport now) for a monthfor training for my new job.

Didn't want to leave as I always hate leaving my family. Cried in my girlfriend's arms this morning as I don't want to leave her either. I didn't even want to leave my dog. I don't do well away from home for weeks at a time.

Trying to be strong and failing currently. I know this is for the better, to better my life and my kid's lives. To help secure a better future for my girlfriend when she becomes my wife. But this is still very hard for me.

Try to focus on what's enjoyable each day of your trip. Actively give thanks to God for everything good you notice while you're away. This will make things much less stressful.

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.

North Carolina is fairly close by for me; only a couple of hours away.
so you won't be far from friends.

Just keep in mind that it's all for a better future and try to be friendly with all the new people you're going to meet. Focus on how exciting it will be when you return to your loved ones. And always in everything give thanks and praise to God.
