I'm learning how to draw. And learning human anatomy is the 1st step. However I'm not sure if it is a good thing to check tons of females naked bodies...I don't have (at least not consciously) lustful thoughts when looking at the bodies, just trying to learn about the body. But is this acceptable for Christians? If not, what are other ways to learn drawing? Thank you!

This mostly depends on you. Its mostly about attitude. I have 3 or 4 figure drawing model books on my shelf. After awhile you just get used to seeing people naked when drawing. Its also mostly a context issue. Most poses you draw for figure drawing are either action poses or poses to show a specific muscle group or composition. Its not necessarily sexual unless you want it to be. Or the model wants it to be.

I can assure you that at art colleges- at least the half way decent ones- when anatomy is taught it can hit similar levels to that taught to nursing/medical students.

It is not about the outside of the body par sea- Its understanding how its all but together underneath. How joints are articulated, how skin ages, how ligaments and muscles respond to loads and movement and so on.
The smallest bit is bringing it all together in a life study.

Life studies can be either sex and adults of any age. Its far more interesting from a draughtmanship pov to draw an older body than a younger adult too.
