Whatever we can believe, we can receive.

Some can believe some things, some others. But, we can also believe against what others believe and against negative expectations.

I do not think the higher gifts of the Spirit will remain forever - we know they will not - but this does not mean our expectations and beliefs can not create profound change within the right and working confines of this world God gave His only son to save.

The real beliefs, I see, as being needed... is the belief in others, hope in others, to help them change -- and the belief God will give us that power to do so.
