It's been nearly 12 weeks now sinse she walked around the corner, and I can say that the numbness is starting to wear off a bit...OUCH! I seem to be Ok for few and far between moments. I've been trying to walk, I have, but right now all I can seem to do is lean forward. Question is, how far can I lean before falling flat on my face? Maybe that's were I should be. I just don't know.

It's so hard. I will tell you what I tell myself: One day at a time.
Dear Lord, Help us to take one day at a time. Help us to know that you are with us today. Help us to feel your comforting presence. Help us to know that you will not leave us on our own. Help us to know that you have already seen and prepared our future and now you are preparing us so that we will be ready when we get there. Help us Lord, to share what faith we have with others and thereby strengthen our own. Help us to remember when we're leaning and almost ready to topple over, that you are the lifter of our heads. Help us to feel your mighty hand under our chin gently lifting our eyes up to see you.
Lord I pray this for Kept Heart, for me, and for all of us on this site who are suffering the loss of losing the one you gave us to love. Please Lord, love our loved one for us, hug them, tell them we will meet them someday. And, Lord, give us your love to help the void that we are feeling. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen
