Lean on God

i wrote this poem during a really hard tiem in my life it is one of my favorites that i have written
Lean On God

In the midst of pain
When life doesn’t seem fair
Lean on God
For He is there

When storms around you are raging
And you’ve cried all you can cry
Look to God
Dwell in the secret place of the Most High

When you feel so all alone
And the hurt inside you is great
Don’t let yourself waver
Stay strong in your faith

The circumstances you’re in
May be too much for you
So cast all your cares on Him
His love is always true

When you’re facing a mountain
That you feel you can’t climb
Let God help you up it
He’ll work it out in his own time







God’s love is faithful
And it will never fail
Even if in the current circumstances
It may seem hard for you to tell



Don’t let satan get you down
And make you feel like you’ve lost all hope
God will always triumph over him
He will help you cope

God can calm storms
And split seas apart
If you’ll just ask Him
He can completely heal your heart
