  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi JS , the irony is that the old black and white film actually clearly shows Jimmy Pages defined looks , his face didn't change that much ... even if his music did

That's true, cyg. I still like the 70's look for men, with longer hair.

Awesome guitar there! Have you ever played one like that, cyg?

I have tried one in a guitar shop but they are very heavy JS , Genesis and Rush used twin necks , here's how to play a slightly different twin neck ;

if hammer ons and pull offs are played really well with the sound turned right up it is possible to play two necks ...... google Michaelangelo twin neck and see what I mean

That was really interesting, cyg. I'm going to save that one too in my Faves.

I used to have a keyboard where you could record with numerous tracks. It was good fun working a song up and I did a couple of songs as background music for our lad to sing with at church. I tried it with the team for a song item too, but the constant tempo floored them and they fell behind by a beat and then another beat. Our lad managed fine, though. It's great having so many different sounds at your fingertips to experiment with, though the piano is my most favourite instrument.
