I wrote this poem in year 8. It's also a little depressing. I'm a depressing person, aren't I?
Last Words
What was the last thing she heard you say?
What was the last thing she saw you do?
Was it a smile and a wave and a helpful hint?
Or did you tease her and laugh at her too?
Did you write mean stuff about her on the toilet walls?
Or do things simply to stir?
Did you call her gay or stupid?
What was the last thing you said to her?
Because now she's gone, it's all your fault
At least that's what you think
You left her with a nasty word or cruel look
to make her think
About what she did,
that way of getting rid of all her pain
And no matter what you do,
You'll never get that guilty feeling out of your brain
