Name: Lady Sula Dvirok
Age: late 20s
Race: human
Height/Build: tall, stately, slender but powerfully built
Profession: "professor"
Apparel: When herself, Lady Sula dresses flamboyently, almost overly so, even for her rank and wealth. She combines dazzlingly bright silks with opulent black. However, she has a wide array of diguises that she frequently dons, rarely out of necessity, but instead for her own personal amusement.
Hair: light "strawberry-blonde", long, generally braided and worn up.
Eyes: abyssimal black
History: Sula Hyltun was born to a middle-class family of merchants. Through "good fortune" her parents were able to arrange her betrothal to the ederly, almost senile, Lord Rugl Dvirok. The wedding took place when Sula was still very young, and immediately following ceremony there was a huge feast to which the whole countryside had been invited. During the feast, Lord Dvirok indulged in far more wine than was prudent. He collapsed, dead, leaving his widow Lady Dvirok, the sole proprietess of the vast Dvirok estate and fortune. A rumour began circulating that Lady Sula herself had brought about her husband's demise by poisoning his food or drink at the feast. Though suspicion still lingered in the more cynical minds, Lady Sula was eventually able to clear herself of the accusations. She used her newly acquired wealth to obtain an education in the city of Kharilin , rising quickly among the ranks of history students to become a distinguished instructor in the subject. She kept mostly to herself during her time in the great academic town, forming only a small circle of close friends. Much of her spare time was spent on the stage, and Lady Sula became well-known for her skill in adopting various disguises. She would frequently appear in disguise among her friends or students, relishing dramatic revelations of her true identity. Some called her a ruthless woman, referring to her dedication and drive in her academic field. Some called her sly and secretive, refering to her dramatic talent. To others, the words seemed to ring far truer and deeper.
For a time, Lady Sula went back to her home to stay with her ailing mother and father, but was suddenly called back to Kharilin by an urgent distress message from Maire Dess, an old friend...
