CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't wear them because I love my jelly sandals. Jellies are plastic sandals often found for kids. I found adult ones online because they are so comfy & last so long. I have black, silver glitter, pink glitter & gold glitter.

I "borrowed" a red pair from my sister about two years ago and fell in love with them. I've just about worn them to death though, so I might have to break down and buy or "borrow" some pretty soon. The sad thing is that I can wear her's even though she is six years younger than me...

As long as the conversation stays on "flip flops", I will allow this thread to stay. If it moves to other pieces of clothing, I will remove it. I don't care to know what everyone wears and where the conversation will lead from there. That can be filed in the TMI category.....

The same thing happens with me. I can't wear flip flops because that thing in the middle cuts right into my toes. I am very limited in my footwear choices.sweetlambofgod said:

Anyways I love flip flops. I wear them alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll summer long. And I am so happy that I am not living in a place where I can wear them longer into the fall then at home.
I have them in all different colours and oh man I love them to death. I would wear flip flops all year round, if I wouldnt catch pneumonia

I picked up a pair of mine off my bedroom floor to vacuum my room and laid them on my computer chair. Then I forgot they were there. So I went to sit down later and yep, you guessed it- thong wedgie.
