  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My wife has just had a show and lost her plug, so our first child will be on its way in the next 24-72 hours.

Please pray that all goes well and bub is born safely and is healthy. We are both a little nervous! But very excited at the same time!:help:
As they say, this is one of lifes great experiences! :amen:

It was a difficult labour that ended in a ceasar, and I feel jetlagged like having flown from London back to Sydney.

But everything is ok and baby Sean Jayden is healthy and just SOOO cute!

Thanks for your prayers everyone, and thanks God for giving us this beautiful child.

I can't help it, I'm just a doting dad, still.

"Sean" means "God is Gracious" in Hebrew, and "Jayden" means "God has heard" - together we're taking them to mean our God is a gracious God that loves to hear from us.

Here are some photos of our beautiful bub, about 24 hours old. God is gracious indeed.:bow:
