Did you know Israelis have there own form of Martial Arts?!
About two years ago I heard of Krav Maga and couldn't find any info on it. I googled it again and found this site. This is very exciting for me since I'm a big martial arts fan. If you ever get a chance to see a demonstration, it's very cool to watch. Anyway, just thought I'd share this.

Krav Maga is a great form of self defense. IIRC Lotar is a simmilar form.

Amen to that! Feminism has almost done away with fidelity and chivalry

Knowing martial arts does make me feel safer though. I live in a nice neighborhood and I'm still always watching my back because bad people still come in here, even if it's gated. It's just nice to know that if someone gets you in a chock hold you can "flip" them!

DH and I used to love TaeKwonDo -- well we still do LOL, but we had to quit when it got too expensive to leave babies home with a sitter . Now that most of our children are getting much older, we have been talking about getting everyone back into TKD. So, I'm interested to see there's an Israeli art as well. Thanks for the links!
