  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

i see.. i'm raising the question here coz i need to find some bible study material and there's so much that it's difficult just to pick one.

then my cousin's been saying there's too much junk mixed with the goodies in Koorong, it's hard to wade through it. :)

nothing in particular, just something nice for a group study.. which was why i worried a bit as my mind was blank. i got around 3-4 christians here that don't have much extra bible studies. One girl was interested in getting baptised but decided not to half way.

went to Koorong the other day and came up with two books (topical - only 6 sessions), one's on 'Joy', the other on 'Bible characters'. I thought the 'Joy' one may be a bit difficult, wouldn't have much to share if the group had not experienced much, but bro likes it better than the other, so i'll probably stick with this.

yes Droobie. ;)

thanks Fiskare, i said nothing specific in mind as we don't really know what suits, we'll just have to feel our way around a bit. um, something not too difficult like the study of the book of Romans :D, and not too slow like some of the books in the OT.

so topical would be the one to go.

a) Luther's commentary on Romans rocks, and I believe you can get it from Koorong. It wouldn't be too difficult at all, so don't be shy. Nice outline verse by verse.

b) Topical? Hmmmm.............from Koorong...hmmmm.....depending on your denom...try some catechetical books.... Everyone likes them. I think.
