Craig Komad aka Komodo
Age: Will be 15 in two months
Power: Survival adaptation. His body will quickly adapt to life threatening situations in order for him to survive. So if he’s drowning, his body will develop gills. If he’s falling, he’ll produce flaps to glide. If he’s wounded, his body will quickly heal. But once he dies, he can’t come back to life and if something is cut off it won’t grow back.
Appearance: A bit on the short side but well muscled from having to defend himself. Dark green eyes, dark red hair that is short and spiked except for a few bangs on one side which are dyed black and fall past his eyes. Three earrings in one ear. Missing half his little finger on his left hand from experimenting on himself. Scar on his neck from initiation into the gang.
Bio: His parents are missionaries who worked in places that had the longest lasting effects from the radiation. They didn’t think any of the remaining radiation was strong enough to affect their unborn child, but it was. Craig felt as though his parents were ashamed of him and they never noticed if he were home or not. His older cousin lived nearby but his parents felt she was a bad influence. She’s the one who introduced him to the gang and basically forced him into joining. He’s younger than most in the gang and doesn’t feel like he’s really part of the gang even though the other members are welcoming to him. He’s not used to feeling accepted so he just hangs around toward the back of the rest.
Personality: Shy and low self-esteem, but is loyal to the gang even though he doesn’t feel part of it. Thinks the whole world is out to get him but loves it when one of the other gang members talks to him, it makes him feel noticed and important. He’s used to being made fun of at school and taught himself how to fight. He’s skilled in hand to hand fighting.
