"KNOW YOUR SCRIPTURE!"

An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening religious service when she was startled by an intruder.

As she caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables, she yelled, "STOP! Acts 2:38!"

The burglar stopped dead in his tracks.  The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done.  As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar, "why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you."

"Scripture?" replied the burglar, "I thought she said she had an AX and two 38's."

dunno what I'm doing wrong, as you can tell I'm a newbie....but how do I post without all those tags??  (I copied & pasted this message-- I did NOT put in the tags...it just popped in there)

PS: how do I edit the moods AND change the color of my signatures? the moods page won't let me put my moods in, and I'm not sure how I can change the colors of my sigs...HELP!

Welcome to the forums, loribee!

As you can see, I have removed the tags from your first post. If this happens again, erase the tags manually.

On the "mood" feature, just click on "edit" next to the word mood and follow the list of items to choose from. That's it.

When you refer to changing the color of your signatures, I take it you mean your username. If that's true, you would:

1. click on "control" on the left top portion of the bar just under the Christian Forums logo;

2. click on "Name" at the top and have a good time experimenting with the different colors.


However, if you're talking about the signature line, you would:

1. click on "control;"

2. then click on "sig" located on the same bar at the top as "control."
