The US version of Kinder Eggs is different from the Original European version.

They had to make changes because of the law.

To avoid confusion it would be more accurate to say "Kinder Surprise Eggs are illegal in the US". The one that is found in the US are Kinder Joy Eggs. Kinder Joy Eggs were not designed for the US market specifically. They were sold in Europe since 2001 already but only reached the US market in 2018.

As so. I wasn't familiar with an earlier version. I believe the reason why there was a problem with those is they posed a choking hazard. Whereas a breast implant doesn't pose a choking hazard.
