Name: Kiara "Keya" Grace Lovelace
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 125 lbs
Hair Color: black
Eye Color: storm grayish greenish blue, the color of a storm at sea
Appearance:
Keya has short cropped black hair tied back with a dark red scarf. When she's not wearing her uniform, Keya usually dresses in a black baggy coat over a black tank top, black boots, and dark pants. She also has a pomegranate with a skull in its center tattooed at the base of her neck.
Weapon: Keya's weapon is similar to a gunblade, but it can actually fire short bursts when she pulls the trigger.
Attitude: Keya is introverted, intellectual, and pretty reclusive. She has troubles with trusting people and doesn't have very many friends. She hates being considered weak. Keya doesn't try overly hard to make people believe she is strong, but she loves the reaction she gets when she does something that her audience considers impossible.
History: Keya was raised by her aunt. She had never met any of her relatives although her aunt often spoke of Keya's mother and older brother. Although her aunt was everything a good mother could hope to be, Keya never felt like she belonged. Shortly before Keya entered Balamb Garden, her aunt, the last living relative she had, died in a tragic accident. Keya blamed herself for her aunt's death and became extremely depressed and antisocial. She considered suicide but in the end, her fear of what followed death convinced her that things could be worse there than here. Keya's life basically started to fall apart around her. Everyone avoided her because they thought she hated them.
One day, Keya noticed a guy watching her while she was practicing. Finally, Keya got so annoyed she stormed up to him and demanded "What do you want?"
He grinnned and stuck out his hand. "Hey to you too. I'm Torsten. But you can call me Tor. What's your name?"
Keya was completely caught off guard by Torsten's affability. "Kiara." She answered as she shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you Kiara. See you around." Tor replied as he walked off.
Every day after that Tor came and practiced with Keya. At first, Keya almost resented his presence but eventually she got used to it. Their friendship got off to a rocky start and only kept going because Tor refused to let Keya push him away. Gradually, Keya came out of her depression and realized how much of a jerk everyone thought she was. Now Keya has a few more friends besides Tor but she is still pretty reclusive.
