CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I live in Kelowna. I've lived here since last Monday.
I think that it's one of the most beautiful cities that I've ever seen, and I've driven from here to Montreal numerous times.
I've been told that Skaha beach in Penticton is the place to be in the summer. Is it that good?

I lived in Kelowna for six months and it was great! If I could move back I would, but it was only a temporary gig...was helping my grandparents move out to Ontario. They had lived in Kelowna nearly 20 years. And just to go back to my childhood...I love Ogopogo!

I just LOVE visiting Kelowna! Last time I visited, I went to tons of art galleries. My fave art gallery: The Art Ark. I Love the OGOPOGO too! We took about 5 pictures of my family on the statue.

I use to live in Kelowna a number of years ago. Liked it there very much but had to move back to the NWT.

I was in Kelowna all day Monday. It's a wonderful place, but it gets pretty expensive to have all tha fun. Have been to Big White snowboarding as well. Kelowna is one big playground!
