He is in the hospital to keep an eye on him. I know someone where they did the same thing; she spent ten days in the hospital mostly just to keep an eye on her to ensure that if things did go south she was already there due to risk factors. She is much younger too. ( in her mid 30s.

Why? Maybe others look beyond the mere man and look at his policies which he always at least seeks to bring about. Maybe they're concerned this present group of Dems (not even Joe himself but many that support him) many feel Joe won't be able to hold them at bay. Even soft supporting Dems are concerned about that. Maybe many want to see good Constitutional government preserved which includes the electoral college. Maybe many want to see a strong military. Maybe many want to see a strong economy and believe if you raise cooperative tax rates back up to around 27% from 21 there will be an exodus of investment. Perhaps many would like to see freedom of religion preserved and feel the best chance of that is with Trump.
Maybe many want to be able to choose where their children are educated. Others may want to have a President that allows immigration YES but ONLY legal immigration and that their needs there needs regulation on this. Perhaps many wants to see good conservative judges on the Supreme Court that don't seek to rewrite the Constitution. Maybe others want to see the history of America taught and not see it erased. And finally maybe many believe life begins at conception and what a horrible thing it is in seeing actions taken to terminate it. So why should it boggle your mind to seem Trump re-elected?

As a Canadian, i find it absurd that he was elected at all.
The only reason it didn't effect me as much because we had a similar Chris Farley Candidate become mayor some time back.
