She is brave, and will face down anything...usually winning. She is occasionally plagued by nightmares of her late father's death, and is overcome with curiousity about her brother and mother.
Bio: As a small child growing up in England, Kassidy was fascinated by the sea. She would go down to the harbors and watch the sailors, sometimes even talk to them. As she grew older, she became attracted to the darker side of the sea…pirates. When her father, William Turner, left England, she begged him to take her. He adamantly refused, though Kassidy begged and pleaded. Shortly before he left, her little brother, William, was born. Kassidy's father left England soon after the birth. What he was not aware of was his 12-year-old daughter stowed on the ship, making her bed in a coil of rope, and stealing small amounts of food from the storage hold. She was eventually discovered asleep in the coil of rope, and was to be treated like a stowaway. Her father managed to persuade the captain to pardon his daughter. Upon landing in Tortuga, her father quickly tried to make arrangements to send her home to her mother, but felt he could not send her by herself on a ship back to England. He consulted her, and told her that he was going to join a pirate crew. Kassidy immediately begged to join him, promising to pull her own weight and help out as much as she could. With reluctance, William Turner signed them both up to serve on a pirate ship. Several years later, they joined the crew on the famed pirate ship, the Black Pearl, serving under Captain Jack Sparrow. Kassidy always had admired Jack, so when the crew decided to mutiny, she and her father stood against them. For doing so, her father was thrown into Davy Jones’s locker, a cannon strapped to his bootstraps. Barbossa decided to keep her around, though under careful watch. She tried to avoid the fights, and she sneaked away to Tortuga as soon as she learned that they needed Will’s or her blood to break the curse. There, she met Gibbs, and the rest of Jack’s new crew, and joined them to rescue Jack from the gallows. Henceforth, she served under Jack again, eventually becoming second mate on the Black Pearl. All this time, she realized that her brother was mere inches from her at times, yet did not reveal her identity, figuring that he would have no remembrance of her. She would wait until the opportune moment to reveal who she was.
