Alias: Dark Angel

Appearence:
Kane is a medium build woman, dark curly brown hair, and fair features. Her ordinary clothing consists of light colored jeans and tank tops. The only two things odd about her is the set of very large, jet black, angelic looking wings and her eyes which are electric blue at night, and violent green during the day.
The color change is due to her abilities to see very well at night and during the daytime. Her wings are hidden beneath a large trench coat, good enough for passing in a busy street no matter what her parents tried to tell her otherwise, and she usually wears sunglass no matter what time of day to hide her brilliant eyes.
Personality/Bio:
She is very withdrawn, as those of her lot usually are. Since the age of four, Kane has been kept at home, not allowed to venture into the streets because of her "disfigurement," a term the doctors aways enjoyed calling it in the shows she sometimes watches at night. At that age, it was discovered there were two lumps growing at the shoulder blades. Extremely surprised and worried, considering what they knew of her mother's own father, they hid her away in the house for several years, homeschooling her. However, when she was older, around 10 or 11, none can now say when, she began to venture out into the world at night, sneaking here and there and waiting for morning so that she could watch the local children go to school.
She longed for school, for homeschooling just wasn't what it had once been. Her parents had long before given up teaching her anything of value since they knew she would never enter into the world as a normal person, her wings were simply too large to hide being five feet long each. Her parents hardly noticed her by the time she was 15, kept her in the attic where they could forget about her, where they didn't have to see her.
Now at the age of 18, she sneaks out of her home on occasion and practices flying about the city, beyond the schools and the safe neighborhood, occasionally being photographed by tourists and was secretly dubbed Dark Angel. Her parents forbid her freedom (locking her up after reading a few articles on her). And though they only send up food for breakfast and dinner, she is a teenager and she fights for her freedom tooth and nail....and on occasion wing.
She doesn't even know who parents are anymore, rarely seeing enough of them when they open the attic door to shove in another plate of food and take the last. All that she does know of her family is that her mother hated her grandfather and everything resembling him...his name, she was told, was Rodrigo.
Specific Powers:
She obviously has the ability to fly as well as super hearing (more akin to sonar and sensing vibrations of the ground when someone is approaching) and sense of smell. Her eyes change color depending on her environment and can pierce deep darkness, clear extreme brightness, and even engloss over for vision underwater which her wings allow her to 'fly' through. She cannot breath underwater, but can hold her breath for a very long time (about 10 minutes). She has super strength due to her need to beat her very heavy and large wings, but often times becomes unbalanced when on the ground. She is, however, very fast and this can counter-act the heaviness of her wings. There have been times when she swears she knows something bad is about to happen before it does, but perhaps it's just her paranoid personality tricking her...
