Vice President Kamala Harris won't be attending Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech during a joint meetingof Congress on Wednesday, with about 30 federal lawmakers also not planning to attend.

Netanyahu is expected to speak about the ongoing war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and the effort to free the remaining Israeli and American hostages who were abducted on Oct. 7 of last year.

Harris will not be present for Netanyahu’s speech because the presumptive Democrat Party nominee for president is on the campaign trail, reported CNBC.

As Vice President of the United States it was her job to preside over Congress today. Literally.

Her refusal to go is a dereliction of her duties to the American people as Vice President of the United States, and a terrible sign of what kind of president she would make.

Netanyahu will be meeting with Trump while he's here so Vance is likely to attend that, or Trump's meeting covers Vance also. Since Vance doesn't have the authority Trump will it's better for Trump to meet with Netanyahu. Future president to current President.
