Secrecy breeds corruption, I think. Cover ups, institutional protection at the expense of individuals, and secrecy is a lot like darkness where wicked people hide their deeds. And Jesus said ,"Do not, then, be afraid of them. What is veiled will all be revealed, what is hidden will all be known; what I have said to you under cover of darkness, you are to utter in the light of day; what has been whispered in your ears, you are to proclaim on the house-tops."

To stand before God "justified" takes going through some severe disciplining (being crucified with Christ empathetically) like we might see with those 3000 on Pentecost (acts 2) who were cut to the heart. That was pretty public.
Interesting but not what the topic is about.

I suspect that Justice is complex. In Australia, we are currently having a national discussion about The Voice, stemming from a call for justice emanating from the Statement from the Heart seeking makarrata. I suspect Christians will be all over the shop on this issue, so in some sense it will be very public, yet ultimately it will come down to what happens in a secret ballot.

But who was the one that was adding to the assembly in Acts 2:41 and in verse 47 , says tat it was the LORD was ADDING TO THAT ASSEMBLY .

By the was the Greek word ADDING / PROSTITHEMI is in the Greek IMPERFECT TENSE , ACTIVE VOICE and in thr INDICATIVE MOOD , which means ADDING and then stopped ADDING .

I was thinking of the courts rather than votes.

I don't naturally associate jurisprudance with justice. Perhaps I have become old and cynical, or perhaps a little jaded.

In the world Justice is a public affair with occasional secret proceeding. With Christians Justice is almost always secret. Why is that?
Not secret.
If we confess our sin, Jesus is faithful and just to forgive us all our trespasses and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
That is justice.

Crimes and sins are not the same thing, a crime is likely to be a sin, but many sins are not crimes.

Yet churches treat crimes as sins and do not hand the matter over to the courts. Things are kept secret, even from the members of the congregation. Sexual misconduct is kept confidential, misdemeanour conduct is kept confidential, financial misconduct is kept confidential. These confidentiality arrangements lead to corrupt practises, at least they can, and we can see that they do very often. Even leaders in forums and other groups treat misconduct confidentially, all misconduct is adjudicated in secret, church, para church, clubs, and children's organisations treat such matters as confidential if the groups are part of a church or religion. And that can't be a good thing.
