Just got a Wii....

Ok, So I just got a Nintendo Wii, and I have WiiSports and WiiPlay, what are other good games that I should get for it? I also have an XBox 360 so If its on both Ill probably get it for the 360 unless the Wii version is crazy good. Thanks.

Seriously, there are pretty much no good games for Wii right now.

Yes. Fun for a while, but it's quite buggy and repetitive. Plus, the sword-fighting sequences are downright awful.

Yeah, I'm guessing there aren't going to be a lot of situations you'll find yourself in where you're stuck deciding whether a game is better on the Wii or the 360. I don't think the two are going to have a lot of overlap.

Agreed. I doubt you'll buy a game for the Wii that's released on the 360 as well.

I think Madden 07 is fun on the Wii. I tend to buy a Madden every 2-3 years (not every year) and I hadn't bought one since '04. If you don't have Madden 07 for XBox (and you like football games, esp Madden), I'd try it for Wii.

We just got a Wii second hand.
Came with Wii Sports and Wii Play, Zelda Twighlight Princess and Red Steel.

I've not tried Red Steel yet, but have heard it's not fantastic, but the others have been great fun.
Not far into Zelda yet, but am enjoying it.

I read a review to say that Wario was good, but I've no idea what it is, so can't really comment.

I want to download some games though, when I get a classic controller, etc.

Which systems games do I need the classic controller for, and which can I use my currenct controller for?

According to Wikipedia, the wii-mote will work with all NES games downloaded. A Gamecube controller will work with all NES, SNES, and N64 games. The classic controller will work with NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis and Turbo-Grafx games.

So, if I am reading that right, I need to get a gamecube contoller and I can play everything but the sega genesis and turbo-grafx games - what is turbo-grafx anyway?

Turbo-Grafx was an old 16-bit era system, that didn't do so well in North America.

Anyway, Twilight Princess, Warioware and SSX: Blur are all very good games I have for my Wii. The Godfather: Blackhand Edition is also very good, if you like heavily violent games.

Ok, I just got done at Gamestop (They are having a Buy 2 used get one free special) and I came out with some pretty good games.

$24-Red Steel (Multiplayer is supposed to be really good)
$45- Tiger Woods 07
$45- The Godfather
Free- Prince of Persia
$45 - Sonic
