  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Today spring sprung. I literally watched the forsythia bloom and the weeping willow grew leaves before my eyes as I was peering out the window waiting for a break to the spring shower. It rained all day but it remained bright, like the sun really wanted to come out but could not quite make it. I love this time of year. everything seems to come to life and it is light until almost seven in the evening. I can't wait until it stays light until nine and the days are warm and sunny!

Tannie I wish you were my mom, then I could stay young for a short while longer. Mine just wants me to get married, because she wants grandchildren. I on the otherhand just want to serve the Lord. Do not get me wrong, I do want to marry, but in His time and not mine. He will sent the right lady at the right time. It is just not now and my mom does not quite understand that.

What a sweet person you are! God will send you the right woman and you will give your mom those grandkids. Just don't rush it, you're still young. (Don't tell you mom I said that though) This hug reaches the miles between me and you!

Hi all!

It's 15:45 on a chilly Thursday afternoon here in Jerusalem. I have to be off soon back to Maaleh Adumim to pick up Da Boyz. This Saturday, the weekly Torah reading is Exodus 35:1-40:38. We will also read Exodus 12:1-20. The reading from prophets is Ezekiel 45:16-46:18. Gotta run!

I missed you again. Listen if you you read this tommorow it is also fine. I have decided to save up. It will probably take a year or two and then I will have enough money. You better make sure that you are still around, because I will take you up on your offer to tour Jerusalem with the bible as our guide. Tell me which man of God is your favourite and why?
I like Moses. The bible says he is the most humble man that ever lived. I wish I could say I was even a quarter of what he was, but who knows, through God anything is possible.
