God's word and purpose for humans in creation is man and woman, not what animals do.
The English "sin" of Sodomy and the English "sin" of Onanism, are mis-named. The scriptural passages for which they are named were mis-applied to situations that they do not describe.So why isn't inhospitality known as "sodomy" then?
God set His judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah because they were unrighteous beyond belief, probably beyond all others, and it wasn't simply inhospitality or homosexuality alone. In every way, these were unrighteous people, not in just the sexual areas of their lives.

If you had bothered to read what I had posted I said that dolphins and humans are the only two species that engage in sex for reasons other than to procreate. If that's too big a word for you, I'll break it down. The Jewish rabbis whose commentaries, arguments, and rulings are recorded in the Talmud and other ancient works recognized the crime of Sodomy (or more precisely "acting like a Sodomite") as refusing hospitality, even when it would cost you nothing. (For example, if you have already harvested a field and a traveller asks to camp out one night.)
I would think that people who spoke the language, and were both culturally and temporally closer to the situation should understand the meaning of the word better than cultural strangers speaking a different language.

homosexuality is perfectly natural... it occurs in nature, thats what natural MEANS...Of course homosexuality is unnatural so is paedophilia, the purpose of God is that a man shall leave his father and mother and be united with his wife and the two shall become one flesh. A man cant leave his father and father and be united with a boy and the two become one flesh. Thus gay and lesbian thinking is a nonsence concept purely designed to try and establish sexual deviation and degradation just because some find it pleasurable and gratifying.
Thats not a problem to have a differecne of opinoon, but the Christian position on it is that God's purpsoe is man and woman and same-sex unions are error, hence Gen 2, Gen19, Lev 18 & 20, Judges 19, Matt 19, Mark 10, Eph 5, 1 Cor 5-7, 1 Tim 1, Romans 1, 2 Peter 2 and Jude 1, just for starters.
