Your characterization of the various authors of the Bible as "bronze age goat herders," obviously.
Bronze age goat herder is not a perjorative. It is, however, important to understand that one cannot expect insightful scientific theory from a subsistence pastoral economy.

There's nothing wrong with being a bronze age goat herder. Nothing at all. They just aren't the best people to ask for scientific information about complex, often non-directly observable phenomena.

I am sure you be told that somehow people just know that these inconvenient rules are no longer applicable. Only old testament laws that benefit the political cause of the individual are applicable today

Isn’t it interesting that those using the bible to justify prejudice never want to talk about the teachings of Jesus
Indeed... yet more support for my embryonic theory... that many people who identify as "Fundamenatlist Christians" are actually far more correctly called "Paulian Jews"... they revere the legalist bits of the Old testament, and the words of Paul. All that liberal long haired Jesus nonsense is really nothing more than a figurehead

There is nothing wrong with being Bronze Age goat herders but the authors of the Bible were not Bronze Age goat herders.

According to the lack of any evidence, there is no credible, proof that Sodom and Gomorrah even existed...

The condemnation applies regardless.

Do you do everything above, do you put people to death if they break a rule?

The New Testament, which is the standard for Christians, condemns homoeroticism in several different places.

How do you know?
This is not difficult. The Late Bronze Age in the ANE was from 1600-1100 BC. Most of the Hebrew Scriptures were written after that and the New Testament was written over 1000 years after the end of the Bronze Age.

Quit while you are behind.

How do you know that they weren't goat herders?
The New Testament is written in Greek, some of it quite sophisticated, the mastery of which would have probably been beyond the means of a herdsman.

you're wrong, because the self contradictory, yet totally inerrant local context tribal laws of bronze age goat herders says so!
Don't quit your day job to become lecturer on the Bible.

Just how do you know that what you read in your Bible is exactly how it was written 2000 years ago? What you read in English has been frased exactly the way it has been written in Hebrew and Greek? You do know that when the text has been translated and re-written so many times, the words and meanings change. I mean it was written, re-written, translated and re-translated. There has been addition of some passages and adjustments. So how do you know?

There is no other ancient text even remotely comparable to the accuracy of biblical transcription through the ages. The dead sea scrolls are one example. I have to ask how do you know that the bible is not accurate or reliable? Or an even bigger question, what does this have to do with homosexuality?

What about Old Testament

The OT is basically just a collection of books written by/of prophets. david was a sheep herder (before he became king ofc)and a large portion of psalms is attributed to him.

for the most part, prophets were called to deliver messages from God, so not likely they spent all their time herding goats. (Unless you consider the unbeliever as a goat)
