  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The "Left Behind" series have sparked many debates about when the end of the world as we know it will occur. I have a theory. I feel that God has revealed something to me that is worth sharing. 3035 A.D. will be the last year before the Return. The prophecies of two thousand years are just as wrong as one thousand years. Don't understand? Jesus rose 3 days after his death, and in that time he conquered death and Hell's power. The Bible also tells us that every day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years a day. From 2000 years after the rise of Christ will be a war between Heaven and Hell, the "Second War" if you will. This will lead to the second coming, and, ultimately, the end of Earth. If we survive that long.

LOL! Well, at least your prophecy is uncheckable, at least by us.;) :D

I'm curious. Why do you think the Lord would reveal to you that He will return more than 900 years after you die? What good would He hope you could accomplish with that type of information? Do you think God expects people to believe you? I mean no offense. I'm just trying to figure out why He would reveal information to you that would be of no use to you.

That belongs on the eschatology forum, they would love that one!!!!!

Was that after or before you read the "left behind" series? Oh well, at least we have another 1000yrs to dwell on it.

1 corin 15:21 For since by man [came] death, by Man also [came] the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those [who are] Christ's at His coming. 24 Then [comes] the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.

hebrew 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

God works in mysterious ways. I also did not say I was sure God told me, I said I felt He let me figure it out.

Ooooohhh, now you "felt He let you figure it out." I see. Actually, what you said was, "I feel that God has revealed something to me that is worth sharing." You are clearly implying that you believe this knowledge to be imparted to you from God. You said nothing of "figuring it out."
