But there are not tens of thousands of them, as has been alleged by the right. And none of those surgeries were performed by kindergarten teachers without the parents' knowledge. My question was just too simple I guess. I simply wanted to know where you stood on surgeries for intersex people.Not really because every intersex person is either male or female.
So, when they have surgeries to correct anomalies - they are not "reassigning" their sex - nor is the concept of "gender" at all applicable.

Ohhhh this is wild. What about Jews and Muslims that consider it a religious rite? Plus, doesn’t it help prevent infections? I know it was the norm for western male babies until relatively recently.

Tx didn't ban circumcision, but they passed a law to target trans people that is so vague, there are other procedures that could be interpreted as being under the same category. The author gives a list of such procedures, some of the ones regarding children with undefined sex of which I was unaware.
