My initial reaction is that if we did this, we would get complaints about not creating sub-forums for other religions represented here on TAW. Given that this is ChristianForums, my instinct is that such an addition would be highly unlikely.

We do have a subforum for Messianic Judaism, however:

I would like to suggest a forum be created for our Jewish members with perhaps subforums for Reform, Conservative, Chabad, Orthodox, Ultra-Orthodox, etc...

Awesome idea!

A little over a year ago I did not know who Rabbi Nachman of Breslov was but now that I have been introduced to his ideas and writings I am convinced that he can play a major role in helping Jews, Christians and Moslems begin to think differently about each other!

rsduncan, would you want Christians like myself who have an interest in Judaism to participate in this forum or not?

Rabbi Nachman of Breslov may help to unite Jews, Christians and Moslems????

Are you a Jew?

I would actually agree with this, if it were a counter-Christian missionary discussion between Jews and Christians on a level playing field was allowed, which does not happen at Judaism sites. But to have a forum just for Judaism itself - no, not at a Christian site.

I would love to be able to discuss with Jews at a Christian site, where they would be given a level playing field to argue their position why they don't think Jesus is the messiah, or a failed messiah in their view. Also, we (Christians) would have ready access to ask Jews about their religion beliefs and hebrew language. Which, what the Jews believe is absolutely imperative to understanding fitting the Christian end times prophecies. I think the majority of Christians here could use the education.

There would have to be some fundamental rules, first of which no insulting Jesus or the Christian bible. That should not be a obstacle for Jews to express their beliefs and stance.

Maybe on a trial basis.

Well said Doug!

I read an article by a man from Uganda several years that gives Christians and Orthodox Jews one huge topic to discuss!!!!!!

Should Christians support Jews in rebuilding of Third Temple?

I agree. I think a Judaism forum is informative to say the least. Perhaps, restrict Christians from posting on it and give Hebrews full control to express their fellowship in an environment suitable for them in the midst of Christians. Allow Christians to read but restrict from posting. Hebrews can post as fit on topics of Christians and discuss anyway that is appropriate.

I agree with this. I would like to see Hebrew messianics also express their belief in the doctrine of divine invitation. For now they have been pummeled, and harrassed and made subject to another identity here on this site. As Christians or not, we should defend the right of others the same priviledge to self identify, just as we do all groups here. The leadership in the messianic community outside this site ,by a large majority which preach "divine invitation". Are other groups subject to have their faith re-written on an internet site? How would any of us like it to have forums here that misrepresent what you believe? Are there those here which would support those the right to define their own faith?
