Jubilee year

Hi, I have a couple of questions.

1) Does the start 50th year form the start of the next 50, or, does the next 50 start at the end of the 50th year?

2) What date (BCE) did the Israelites Canaan after leaving Egypt? (this would have been when the Jubilees started)

According to my studies, the Israelites left Egypt about 1408+/-2 BC. Therefore, they entered Canaan about 1368 BC. the first Jubilee would be about 1318. Since we can't know the exact year, whether they used the year zero or the year one method is moot. remember, if you are trying to calculate the current date for Jubilee, that there was no year zero. It goes from 1 BC. According to this method, the next one would be 2033 AD. The traditional date of 1406 would mean the next one would be 2045.
