Let me assure you all that we do not wish to ban ANYBODY! Our policies on suspensions and banning is very clearly stated (in the FAQ), but in brief, you can receive a suspension for three official warnings and a year-long ban for seven.

These warnings are ONLY given for individual rule violations. So to avoid a suspension, you only need to avoid breaking more rules!

We also show a lot of grace. Members are given edit requests and unofficial warnings that don't count toward a suspension.

Do feel free to PM me with any questions you might have, but be aware that publicly discussing moderator actions or insulting moderators (or anybody else for that matter) is against the rules.

I don't think I understand To me, this post was celebrating how long everyone has been on CF... I saw no disrespect to mods....

Of course you are right! In fact, it wasn't very disrespectful, but I removed a couple of pages of posts that WERE discussing moderator actions.

I'm sorry for the confusion! I was so busy trying to figure out how to say it properly in German (I'm sure it's only half right) I forgot to make it clear what I was talking about.

One member simply stated that they wouoldn't be around much longer because they were going to be banned. I just wanted to make it clear that people are only banned or suspended for repeated rule violations -- not arbitrarily because we don't like them (though I can't think of anybody I have a problem with in the first place!)

On topic, Ich bin ein Mitglied an den CF für zwei Jahre gewesen und ich bin ein Moderator hier für vierzehn Monate gewesen.

if it's easier for you to write in english just do it. dying2live4christ and sk8 are from the usa and soda, ainuhina and i can speak english too.
