Lead, some need to remember, that we are ALL Joyce and whoever...are our bros and sis's...and CRITICIZING them is NOT Christian at all......

I understand completely.

You know, a funny thing happened the other day. My 5 yr old asked me if I was her brother. I said, "No, baby! I'm your dad silly!"

Then I thought about it.

"Actually honey... I am your brother! I'm your brother-daddy! I'm your brother in God! Just don't tell folks I'm your brother-daddy unless they know what it means ok?"

doh!

ROFL... I just had this mental image of the looks on people's faces when your daughter tells them that you are her brother and her dad. Good thing you added that last bit.

That doesn't mean anything. I worked in a daycare in the toddler room. I had tons of 2 year olds that didn't talk. There wasn't anything developmentally wrong with them. But I'll pray for your fears and worries to be calmed.

I've heard that boys often take longer to talk. You know how guys are...they just don't feel the need to express themselves as much.

On the contrary though, I have seen parents really work on their young sons sensory development and seen them be more ahead of the game than young girls. I think it depends on the parents' interactions with the children just as much (if not more) than the child's ability to learn.

We work with him daily. He even has an OT and a PT. the pediatrician says that speech delay goes hand in hand with TOF. We try. I am even trying to get him into speech therapy.

That is commendable. I'll be praying for you all. I know how tough it can be at times. *hugs*
