  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Why and how was Joseph a fruitful bough? I want that to happen in my life too.
The life of Joseph or those of Noah, Daniel and Job have been unique examples of righteousness. Daniel and Job used to pray a lot and they were very humble men.
Joseph and Daniel have something in common, they were exalted by God in the middle of people which wanted to crush them, they both had the gift of the prophecies. But Joseph had something unique, the way to forgive his neighbour. The uniqueness of Daniel was that to pray and fast for his people and to consider the Word of God and His prophecies. Job had patience and humbleness like no one. Noah had the greatest emotional weight and responsibility which no common man could ever experience.
We can just read about their stories and learn if we want to be very fruitful.

Then you should aspire to fit into characteristics of people like Joseph:
1) perseverance grown during the tribulations by faith and prayers;
2) total obedience to God and His commandments;
3) humbleness cause they fear God and love their neighbours;
4) diligence;
5) long-suffering
etc.

But this could not be enough to be as fruitful as Joseph, we also have to admit and recognize which Joseph was chosen by God to be such fruitful. We can just be fruitful as doing good fruits by doing the best in our lives.

Thank you for your reply. Makes so much sense
