I have been given a word from the Lord today and when it came , all I could think about was Jonah.
Jonah would rather hide , run away or die than do what the Lord had told him to do . One of the things we over look sometimes about Nineveh is those people knew God before they lost their way or they would have not received and acted on the message. They understood the message in Jonah 3: 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you.” 3 So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord . Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, a three-day journey in extent. 4 And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day’s walk. Then he cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.
So may any who will receive, receive.
America and most places can be seen as Nineveh in this timeline we are in . We say we love God but have lost our way to the secular world and are in the time line of Noah . Each generation was to pass to the next ,Who created them , Who to make number One,Who to be all in for and how all this ends. When we place anything or anyone above God , we have become Nineveh and in danger of being” overthrown, “ as in verse 4.
For over 2 months now the Lord has been showing us, our children are in peril because we have become as the days of Noah, Sodom and Nineveh.
Sports is going to be the example because that is where He took me but it can be anything or anyone we love more than God that gets us in trouble . I saw a writing on a sports building that said “All In,” at the same time the Lord was bringing this message.
America and around the world loves sports. I saw the children's camps and VBS studies are sports based right now. When we teach our children anything more than God, it is death. Yes, a harsh word but I was given death and children today , so now you see why I wanted to be Jonah and escape or hide from this message.
The children in Nineveh saw and was part of that fast and sackcloth time of repentance . The children in the day of Jesus walked to that Festival of the Passover.
I grew up with sports and was part of most of them . I know how much time, money and energy goes into just one event. Here is what we are called to do and teach our children. Look at whatever is in our lives that makes us not, “ all in,” for God.” Then show them , those things do not matter, show them we can fast them.
Do we love God enough to practice and get ready for a game and fast that game? Could our children or us walk away and tell the Lord , You mean more than that game? Do we love God enough ,to not incorporate God in our pleasures and enjoyment but let God be that pleasure and enjoyment? Do we love God enough to practice , stand in line , buy a ticket and sit for hours in a gym or stadium, every week, just to worship God?
We only have to google “evacuation ,“right now to see we are not paying attention. We are not paying attention if we are carrying on as they did in days of Noah. We can be Nineveh or Lot's wife, that is our choice. They stopped and gave up all they where doing and enjoying in Nineveh , can we ?
It is time to examine our lives and keep track of how much time and energy is given to God , a God that can turn stones into children as in Matthew 3 today. satan is very clever and has always made things look OK and good that goes against God.
From places of war , lava , fires , floods , caves and much more , evacuation is the word. Know what that means , we should be having our people and children preparing for the only evacuation that matters. Jesus told us to be ready every hour...
When we read Ecclesiastes 3, do we know what time we are in? Do our children know what time line they are in or are we teaching them one time line , as in the days of Noah??? Do our children know how to fast and put on sack cloth Spiritually, for the children in Syria , California , Hawaii, Mexico , Africa , South America , the 12 in that cave or any and all of our neighbors in peril? Or are we teaching them how to ignore the Ark being built and carry one as business as usual. Are we teaching them to ignore the plagues of Exodus as Pharaoh did .
In 2015 the Lord showed me how important the story of Moses and Pharaoh is for our lives . It show His patience and what He used to speak with. The last horrible event was the children , those that where saved and those that where not. He called those events His signs and wonders ... God is showing us many signs and wonders right now . What do our children know more than how to be in a time line of mourning for our neighbor or repentance as in Nineveh?
satan has used many things , that is how we end up in” end days.” The greatest thing he has used is what we have taught or not taught our children. If you have any part in teaching children right now, ask these questions. Are we teaching them as the teachers did before Jonah went there. Or ,are we teaching them how to be the children after Jonah gave the message in Jonah 3? Do our children really follow the Commands of Jesus ?
Luke 10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.
Are our children singing and saying this without living it??? Can we as a people walk to a field with our children as One, then fall on our faces and spend hours fasting ,repenting and loving God with all our hearts, without any entertainment or making it fun??? We are in time of Peril a time of no fun, do the children in our lives know this and that there is nothing to fear and how to act ? Are our children under the guidance of Pharaoh or Moses? Do the children in that cave , in those lava flows , in floods , in fires and in war zones ,know what timeline they are in and Who really saves? Do they know Who can stop a war , put out fires , stop a lava flow , end a drought and end a flood or are they the children of Pharaoh?
Are our children as the children in the time of the flood of Noah and did not know Who makes it rain?
The children of Nineveh knew Who put Jonah in a big fish and spit him out. Our children know that story but do they really live it? Will our children know how and when to act out Jonah 3 even if our neighborhood is building the Ark but the neighborhood across the way is not? Buildings , cities , state lines , borders and nations have been used to divide in ways we can not see... satan knows what would happen if we acted as they did in Jonah 3 , do and will our children?
