  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

  • The rule regarding AI content has been updated. The rule now rules as follows:

Hi everyone! I am Elizabeth and although I have been on this site for... apparently 3 years, I haven't been on in a very very very long time.
I used to go on the teen forum every day for a long time. But now I will be 20 in December. It is time to move on.... I am joining you guys in the YA forum now. *cries* I'm not a teen anymore.

Annnyhoo. I am Elizabeth, 19, an aspiring author and in a very serious inter-religious relationship. I live in Colorado and am loving it. ^_^ So yeah. Hi all you young adults. :wave:

Aye. Singles is much more similar to the general fellowship area. YA tends to be rather slow.

I posted in the Teen section regularly until I turned 22, so meh (of course, the age limits were 'adjusted' recently so it doesn't go that high anymore). Then again I joined CF when I was 18 and posted in the Singles and YA sections off-and-on too.

I've taken my share of hiatuses from CF. Welcome back!

Looks like it's coming up on 4 years for your account membership actually :) I've been around for 6 but my membership stars only seem to go up to 5 years, LOL. Joined back in .. October of '03... and then I forgot the password to this account and made a new one for the majority of my time here. I only regained access to it maybe a few months ago, I like having my original account back ;)

Ugh I wish YA weren't so slow, I'm not single so I always feel weird posting in singles, though sometimes I do just because they do have the better conversations and fast-paced atmosphere ;)
