I haven't read it, but all the ones I have read support(like creeds) a religion and not the Word of Yhwh (Scriptures).

Nothing apart from mainstream theology,but vague on the role of the Holy Spirit

I personally have not seen a better basic Baptist beliefs tool than this one.

How about 1 John 1-5 ? This speaks to and for and about believers in the Baptist, Lutheran, and Methodists and Independent and non-denominational groups as well,
and
happens to be the Word of God, so no question that it is in line with the Word of God.

The exposition of the Baptist Catechism by Benjamin Beddome is highly recommended.

The Catechism by Boyce ( who was instrumental in the founding of the SBC along with Broadus) is much better. I have it in the back of my "Abstract of Systematic Theology".
