Surely, surely brothers and sisters...
Joey's postings are just a wind up.
In a way he's either a healthy 'devil's advocate' or he's a very disillusioned and lapsed fundamentalist.

Actually if he's the former, I've got sympathy with him. We truly haven't satisfied all thinking compassionate unbelievers or seeking people with our hermeneutics over difficult passages and topics (like God letting David have all those wives and concubines)

I think he's funny, in a sad sort of way. It just goes to show you that anyone can use the search function on a web site or Bible software, and even learn how to cut and paste. He is the prime example of how important prayerful study of God's word is.
