Joe Strummer was a frontman for The Clash long ago, and probably one of the main people who introduced political activism to rock music. He died recently; it seems likely that many people will mourn his passing.

My MP3 player has played a *LOT* of Clash all day; now I guess I know why.

Praying for his family and friends. Death is hard at anytime but it seems particularly harsh during the holiday season.
