Once upon a time people believed what they heard and trusted persons in authority and that's no longer the case for good reason. If we were honest with ourselves we'd acknowledge the differences between us and the people we're discussing, the omission of access and likelihood of things occurring we would never fathom. But no one wants to do that. They want to pretend they're in the club or in the know and debate things they couldn't possibly verify.
