  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a friend who moved from here to Alaska and she loves it. She did say that there is a high rate of suicide there during the times when it's dark a lot. Not my idea of a good time!

Rebecca, can you make your house warmer? Or are you like me and you feel the cold even if your house is warm?

Awwww well I'm glad you're able to spend the day with him! I hope you and his mom can either avoid each other in a calm way or that you're able to sort through it so you can spend more time with your boyfriend. I'm glad you're doing a little better. I've been praying for you!

Well folks I'm off for now...gonna go have my time with God and then hopefully be sleepy enough to actually sleep lol. Going to work at my mom's cafe tomorrow and then a friend is picking me up from there and we're going to go sight seeing to see if we can get some good pictures! It'll be a long day for me but I don't mind....have a great weekend everyone! Love to you all
