Is it time to shut it down or keep it going? I need input here folks...appreciate it...

Sigh...

There is no reason to close it Daddy...it's been going a year, and it's helped so many people...not everyone gets along but that's real life for ya...it's helped more than it's hurt...and when someone came in and tried to hurt our family, we stood up and fought hard to protect the group...because that's what we do. Sometimes with family, you go through times that are tougher or quieter, but we don't stop being family. So...just something for you to think about...there's no reason to close it IMO.

Well, I wanted to draw opinions from the visitors/members of the thread...because lately, it hasn't had as much hits as it used to and I didn't know if interest was waning, or if the thread wasn't doing it's ultimate job that it was intended to do...

Believe me, I wouldn't want it closed but I also wanted to know what the posters feel that know the thread...

Remember, it's not MY thread, it's OUR thread...so if it remains open, then I'd like to suggest how we might improve it, to have it so everybody feels welcomed and happy in it...

I do appreciate the input folks...just wanted to get opinions, thoughts...thank you...

Keep it open. This place has helped more that any church, doctor or even family member. You folks have stuck with me through thick and thin. The Internet world and world in general, is truly a better place for me because of this awesome group.

Well I say go with your gut. It was your brain child and has your name on it so if you feel it's run its course or is no longer a joy then close it. You're a pretty loyal minded person and maybe feeling your letting others down don't because it is or was a positive environment and did a lot of good. If you feel it just needs some changes to make it better then that's great too.

JimmyP I voted. I know why I chose that and thats simple ... because I met great people like you, SusyQ, Tins and MissRowy. How could I not forget that ... all of us may have changed eachothers lives in one way or another and its always nice to have a thread like this, a thread that we own even though we may have never started it. It has been going for a year and its awesome in its very own way so dont close it, keep it open for others to feel like they have a thread of their own so they can post in it ... even though the problems have arisen, they are dealt with and the thread keeps rolling, thread after thread, post after post and thats awesome in its own way Id personally like to thank you Jimmy for inviting me to the thread ... I do like it and its one of the best on Christian Forums I only hang out on 5 threads, 4 if you dont count my story thread which Tins gave me the idea in your thread and that idea, I like more than anyone can say and to me, those 4 threads are the best ok

I am probably missing some event here, yet, Keep it Open, I say.

I'm not here every day, thus I don't post every day, but am interested in developing new friends or at least acquaintances here, and this thread works for me. Every long time relationship, has ups and downs. If a relationship experiences a down, that is the moment to work it back up; and not close it. Well, that is my attitude in live anyway.

Also, it's open to everyone with a heart, so many thanks for this
