Bio (history): Toran Calnor was a most unique child. When he was 4 he already had a sharp eye, which his father, Naron, an Imperial pilot, noticed with pride. When he was 6, his father gave him a peashooter. But it was soon taken away from him because he tried to shoot a bantha fly off of his sister Debbie's hand. The amazing part is that he managed to hit the fly, although his sister, a musician, had a welt for a few days, which prevented her from playing. So he was given a laser light gun instead, with which he continued to improve his accuracy. At the age of 13, he could shoot just as well as a rookie sniper, and was starting to gain an interest in ships.
He learned about maintenance of freighters and the like from his mother, Wymar, a smuggler, and star fighter repairs from his father. By the age of 18, he could outshoot a sniper with just a blaster pistol, and with a special sniper scope for his already modified blaster, he was unmatched. He was now piloting his father's personal TIE fighter when he got the chance and had his very own Z-95 Headhunter.
At one point, his father had a mission to go destroy a smuggling convoy, which he hoped his mother was not involved with. That day, he went out flying his Headhunter and practicing his shooting skills with various types of blasters. When he returned home, he found the house ransacked, with many valuable items stolen, but the place was not actually destroyed as the Empire would sometimes do to traitors or bandits, which led him to believe a pack of thugs or another group had done it. He found a note pinned to the door with a vibroblade, which said that, if he did anything foolish, he would never see his family again. He got angry and frightened and found where his father's mission was bound for, and when he got there, he met some Imperial defectors. He asked the group about his father, and they told him that he had been one of the defectors but had been captured and held in the custody of the Empire. They told him about their plans to join the Rebellion, and he decided that he would as well, and asked them if he could join them on their quest to find a Rebel group to establish themselves with.
At the age of 26, he now commands his own squadron, Valkyrie Squadron, in which he gained his nickname, Jiggs, for his superior jig-jag tactics in star-fighter combat. He is also an aspiring Jedi Knight, having created his very own lightsaber and begun training in the use of the Force. He has sworn complete allegiance to the Rebellion and has vowed that when the time comes, he will make the Empire pay for messing with the Calnor family.
