  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I only wear my wedding band every day. I'm too rough to regularly wear much jewelry and either lose rings (which is the jewelry I like most) or bang bracelets against things. I do have a turtle necklace that I wear rarely, but I don't like the feel of wearing necklaces.

I always wear my wedding band...sometimes I forget my engagement ring. I've been trying to get into the habit of wearing a necklace and sometimes earrings. I feel better when I wear them. I need to buy some more, though, because right now I only have two sets of earrings and three necklaces. LOL.

I love jewellery, but I don't wear a ton. I go through jewellery phases. One I put on a necklace or pair if earrings, it's likely that I'll keep the combo for the next few days...weeks... :sorry: That is, unless it's specific to the outfit, or incredibly heavy :D

I usually wear a pair of earring. Something small and sparkly is my style. So, my usual are a pair of sparkly Cubic zirconia studs. That is, unless Claires has started selling real diamonds for incredibly low prices :p

And I usually wear a necklace of some kind. Something rather small and simple. Right now I'm back to wearing my silver cross so I can almost guarantee I'll be wearing it for the next 2 or 3 weeks LOL!

I wear my engagement ring, my wedding band and on the other hand I wear a ring with a Christian fish that I've had forever and bought at a premier jewelry party (those are all the rage in my town. I used to hate wearing rings but now if I don't have any of these on I feel strange. I used to wear a watch, but my favorite one got busted and I haven't worn one since. I have a new watch but it doesn't fit my wrist and I need to take it to a jeweler to get some of the links taken out of the watchband so I can wear it. I have a necklace with my birthstone in the shape of a heart that I wear for everyday; if I remember. I have a lot of premier jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, pins) that i got from hosting jewelry parties. I wear them with different outfits.
But, I mostly wear just my rings for everyday.

I wear my wedding band on my left and a fairy ring on my right middle finger, always (I literally never take them off unless I'm washing my hands or the rare occasions I put on lotion). I work with toddlers so I rarely if ever wear my engagement ring because it tends to scratch if it ends up facing the wrong way or something.

When I go out, I usually wear the Open Heart key necklace DH got me for Christmas; before that, it was the footprints poem necklace he gave me for our anniversary two years ago. I'm *trying* to get in the habit of wearing earrings again, but because I didn't wear them at all for years, my left hole all but closed and its a pain (literally) to put them in most days. But I'm trying to, because I want to get a second hole in each ear eventually (maybe get the left redone as well lol).

When I was married I wore my wedding band.

When I became a widower I bought a gold necklace and hung the ring around it to wear for a time.

Now I don't wear jewelry at all. My ring was a thick gold band and the necklace was 24k - just don't see the point in advertising when gold prices are between $1600-$2000 an ounce.

Well the wedding and engagement rings obviously... And a cross that i bought from Greece. I kinda wear it on and off, sometimes I feel that I'm just playing christian and that the only sign of me being christian is the cross neclace around my neck and then i alsways stop... Do I make sense? :sorry: I sometimes use earrings as well but they're not a must anymore.

I have a lot of jewellery, but I don't really wear it.

At the moment there's one ring I wear most days, but generally jewellery feels constrictive. Love to look at it, i'm a complete magpie, but wearing it ... maybe for a few weeks so people know I like the gift, but then it goes into the box to be worn on occasions where a little more glitz is expected.

My original engagement ring, worn on the right hand.
My wedding band, on the left hand, and the ring I got at my public vows ceremony (we were initially married in a civil ceremony while we were homeless) on my left hand.

The promise ring from my first love, who died, on a chain around my neck. And my husband understands my need to wear it.

I always wear my highschool graduation ring, my mother of pearl ring and a sterling silver ring on my right thumb.

If I'm going out, I wear a lot of feathers, wood, earthy, turquoise kind of jewelry. My style is kind of hippie.
