I am a new Christian. Became saved on December 7, 2014. Prior to that my life was a terrible mess for 21 years and there are still issues God is working on right now in me. I grew up with a Step Dad that was verbally and physically abusive to me and my Mom since I was very little. When I turned 7 years old things started turning to sexually abuse with my Step Dad, especially when my Mom would work Night Shift. The abuse continued with him until I was 14 years old and I said I had enough and ran away from home. The Police finally caught up to me and took me back home where the abuse continued. Between the ages of 14-16 I ran away several times until my Mom finally had enough( she was also getting verbally and physically abused as well). My mom asked my Aunt and Uncle if they would take me in and they agreed. The situation did not get much better with the abuse. So I ran away from them as well this time finding a Man on the street to take me in. This lasted for several months until the police caught up with me again. During the time living with this older man he had drugs and then he also forced me to prostitute myself to bring in money for the drugs. The Police eventually caught me on the streets and because I was prostituting I was sent to a Juvenile Center. After leaving the Juvenile Center at the age of 18 I tried looking for the original guy to stay with again, but ended up staying on the streets and in shelters. I did however come in contact with this other man who introduced me to the Underground Porn Industry of New Jersey. It made what I thought was great money and all I had to do was have sex with men which at the time I had no problem at all with. So I did that all the time staying clean from drugs, but still was drinking alcohol a lot. Also during this time I wanted even more money so I got a part time job as a secretary. That is where things turned around a little. I met one of my co-workers who probably saw I was a mess and invited me to hangout with her and go to Church with her if I wanted. I decided to go and went off and on with her for months. In December of last year I was led by The Spirit to accept Jesus into my life. I continue to be drug free and haven't had a drink of Alcohol since January 2015. I also have not done a porn video since September of 2014. I am so blessed to have Jesus working in me each day. I know with Him I can conquer my addictions.
