Jeremiah 29:13: "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
For those who come to the deeper fellowship seeking to know God in a richer and fuller way, and sincerely seeking to have that deeper and more personal relationship with Him, we can take comfort and encouragement from these Words from His Word, as they apply to us today.
We must unite our hearts together in love and prayer not only for what we seek to gain here, but for those who seek to disrupt and destroy our efforts to grow and mature spiritually. We must pray that God will open thier eyes and hearts to receive the blessings of the Truth He has to reveal to us.
Someone recently sent me a birthday PM congratulating me on becoming a Pastor. I did not respond to that one immediately, as I sought to discover why the person thought that I had become a Pastor, for indeed I am not. In fact, I have stated before that being a Pastor is a far higher calling than anything I could ever aspire to.
Nor do I call myself a Teacher, for that also is a far higher calling than I could ever reach.
I am, however, an imperfect servant who loves Jesus and is willing to share what I have been given with any who desires to receive. I invite any and all to study WITH me beginning in the Book of St. John. This will be an interactive Study and not a stump or attack the speaker game. I will use the KJV as a base and from time to time I will use other translations in conjunction with that to enhance understanding of particular Scriptures. This will be a generic Bible Study without any denominational or other religious slant.
Everyone is welcome to ask legitimate questions, and voice differing opinions, but I humbly ask that once difference have been expressed and noted that you please allow us to move on and not bog down or destroy a systematic study. There is a lot of God's Word and there is little time to study it.
I will continue this study as long as one is interested and remains. It is my prayer that this will lead to a Deeper Fellowship with God and a greater love for our Lord and Savioue Jesus Christ. As a result, I pray our fellowship with one another will grow to a new level of mutual love and respect to the Glory Of God.
