I have heard a heap of songs form it and saw it available on pay per view foxtel (australia) one day, but does anyone know more abotu it, like is it on broadway, will it be touring etc.......... Its great I lvoe the music!!!!

Really i havent heard anything at all. I read the novel and i loved it but... a musical, thats odd, worth a look though

It's been a musical for some time - opened on Broadway in 1996 or 1997. Has done at least one national tour.

The broadway show has attracted the likes of David Hasselhoff and Sebastian Bach, formerly of the 80s band Skid Row, to play the lead.

Listen to the original album - it's much better than the revised stage version. I was not overly impressed when I saw it live, but the music is amazing!

J&H has a wierd history. There was the Broadway version and the tour version, which was stronger in many ways (though, the actual staging of the Broadway version was better). The tour version is the version that's available for schools and regional companies to put on.

I like J&H, though it didn't grab me the first time I saw it. To me, it's a reminder of where we could be without Christ. Get the DVD, which has David Hasselhoff (not very good) but has Andrea Rivette, Colleen Sexton, Barrie Inham, and George Merritt, who are all awesome.

they were giving away a cd with newspaper that had a few of the songs from J&H on it, i didnt buy it though.

I don't know if anyone has ever heard of Drum Corps but Carlolina Crown did it a few years back, and it was an awesome show.

o?? thats a bummer. i live in Glasgow, and the main Musicals are in the London West End.. so its the same for me.. i still have quite a few theatres nearby tho..

yeah, the only shows we here in tenessee get are local productions or national tour groups

National tours are excellent though.... you cant beat them! and local productions are a good laugh.
