We really need an irony button. It's not a fact that her statement was a direct response to a "list" when her own words were "files". She said "files" 3 times...
Wake up people!!! This should be obvious.
Based on her claim that [the list] was "on her desk" in an interview and now claiming that there is no "list".It was stated as a "fact" that she lied... Based on her using the word "it".
It is not "non-descriptive" it is a pronoun and refers to the *last* subject or object noun mentioned."It" is non-descriptive in nature, therefore it is non clarifying in what it it describes.
After she answered the question using an "it" to refer to the list. People on the pivot also answer the question and then move on to what they really want to talk about. Pam Bondi is a lawyer and clearly knows how words, including pronouns, work. Lawyers know how to ask and answer questions. It is one of the primary skills.Again she was pivoting the discussion to add new talking points, that were more important to discuss in her opinion, or perhaps she wanted to go in that direction. How can you say that's impossible?
Hmmmm……Probably something along the lines of the Jeffery Epstein client list does not exist! anymore
The Iron button is right here:We really need an irony button.
Except she admitted the MLK files and the JFK files were on her desk.... in her mind, how do you know she didn't mistakenly think the reporter was asking about Epstein "files"?"It" is also a book by Stephen King. She could have been pivoting to that when she said It is on her desk.
It's highly improbable that a conspiracy of any kind has covered up or destroyed names of easily indictable people. So what’s the REAL truth?
Its possible. But this is back when "the client list" was assumed to be a thing, and even loads of Trump supporters were very eager for its release. And the question from Fox was crystal clear.Except she admitted the MLK files and the JFK files were on her desk.... in her mind, how do you know she didn't mistakenly think the reporter was asking about Epstein "files"?
I absolutely think we can. She was asked, "Maybe releasing the list of Jeffery Epstein's clients? Will that even happen?"That's all fine, I just disagree with calling her a liar, as a fact, as that's what was being claimed.
... We can't say she lied, as a "fact" and be honest with ourselves, although we can say that we "think" she lied in our "opinion".
I don't know how one can watch that video and not realize that the first question was specific to the Epstein client list, she says it is on her desk now, along with the JFK files and MLK fines.Except she admitted the MLK files and the JFK files were on her desk.... in her mind, how do you know she didn't mistakenly think the reporter was asking about Epstein "files"?
Again, cearly she is talking about "files".
Are you saying Pam Bondi has just lied to the American people, and that there actually is an Epstein client list?I don't know how one can watch that video and not realize that the first question was specific to the Epstein client list, she says it is on her desk now, along with the JFK files and MLK fines.
imho it is because of bias.
I have zero problem accepting that Bondi would lie to us if there was some advantage to be gained, or disadvantage to avoid. Look who she's serving. Are you saying Pam Bondi has just lied to the American people, and that there actually is an Epstein client list?
Or are you suggesting that Ms. Bondi lied before, when she said she had the list on her desk - Why would she do that?
She either lied that she had the client list, or is lying now in cover up. She either had it or she didn't.Are you saying Pam Bondi has just lied to the American people, and that there actually is an Epstein client list?
Or are you suggesting that Ms. Bondi lied before, when she said she had the list on her desk - Why would she do that?
From what I can remember Bondi never said she had "the list on her desk” or a “client list” on her desk. She only said the files were on her desk, meaning her department hadn’t dug into them yet. Then when they searched through all the files there was no “list”.Bondi lied before, when she said she had the list on her desk - Why would she do that?
