Force skill: Master
Notes: Luke is keen with his lightsaber (single hilt) both defensively and offensively. He is respectable at manipulating objects, particularly at retrieving loose lightsabers. He is agile, adept with Jedi movement techiniques; running, jumping. He has a strong will, he's very aware, and fairly perceptive. His endurance in prolonged fights is noteworthy, and he knows of some healing and absorbing techniques.
Kyle Katarn
Race: Human
Age: Thirty-something (come to think of it, he's got some grey too, not much)
Hight: Average
Build: Average
Bio: Kyle wont tell you too much about his past, but suffice to say that Luke is particularly thankful to have someone else to help get the new Academy off the ground. Kyle has been tested with the lure of the dark side before, and come through stronger for it.
Force skill: Master
Notes: Kyle is also quite keen with his lightsaber (single hilt) both defensively and offensively. He is respectable at manipulating objects, but even better at pushing opponents backwards through the air. He is agile, adept with Jedi movement techiniques; running, jumping. He has a strong will, he's also very aware, and fairly perceptive, though not as perceptive as Luke, they say... His endurance in prolonged fights is workable, and he knows of some healing and absorbing techniques. Both he and Luke are latecomers to healing and absorbing techniques, off the record. Kyle also plays with force barriers/shields a little, though not to much effect.
Meeko Lun
Race: Bith
Age: 29
Hight: Average for a Bith, but that's a little short relative to humans
Build: Smallish
Bio: Meeko claims to have never felt the force until only a few years ago. While employed by shuttle service, ferrying passengers to and about Coruscant, Meeko claims to have realized that he could quite acurately guage the response of customs officials before being checked. He thought it was coincidence at first, but he wasn't wrong for a full year. Finally, when he was unable to descretely choose the customs skybox he wanted, realizing that he had a very bad feeling about the lane he was stuck in, he was able to talk the agent down with ease and pass through inspections. This hardly 'convinced' him that he was a Jedi, but it gave him the guts to ask Kyle when, as chance would have it, he was ferrying him to the old Imperial palace. Kyle was surprised enough that Meeko identified him as a Jedi, and shortly after Meeko found himself on Yavin IV, an eager student. Meeko can be sensative, and he's fairly politically correct, for lack of a better way to describe it. His skills with apprehending situations aren't very good with other Jedi either.

Notes: Meeko's skills are only just emerging, presently he's only any good with Perceptions, Movements (he's a better jumper than a runner), and Pulling objects. Oh, and of course some light mind tricks! He's training to better use his lightsaber and to learn healing techniques, but he's still very green.
Mercy Vaylor

Build: Slim-Average
Bio: Mercy served for a few years with the Galatic catalogue and archeological research department during Imperial times. She wasn't a party or military member of the Empire however, just a clerk. When the Rebellion succeeded, she transited rather seemlessly to the New Republic's "Galatic catalogue and archeological research department" (which the New Republic never even renamed, nor did the Empire rename the department from the Old Republic either, for that matter). Mercy says she got her first inklings of the force when, during the Imperial administration, a container grav-lift failed and nearly collapsed on her old boss, whom she pushed clear just barely. No-one else had an oppertunity to see that she never actually touched him. She constructed the story as if she had just pushed him out of the way, like normal people do, and kept quiet about it for a long time. Then, after serving under New Republic administration for a few years, she up and sought out Luke Skywalker, having heard about his open call for students. Mercy is talkative, but dislikes the large group things, she'll ramble on one-on-one, but is relatively withdrawn in larger groups.
Force skill: Knight
Notes: Mercy has been at the academy for some time, and while she is not yet entrusted with her own padawans, she is no longer just another apprentice. She's usually helping Kyle Katarn manage his older students so he can focus his time on the critical early lessons with younger Jedi. She excells at defensive techniques with her lightsaber, she is resonable good on the offense too. Her Push is powerful, her pull is, well, it's there at least. Her Jump is alright, as is her awareness.
Porsc Pallack
Race: Human
Age: 27
Hight: Tall
Build: Muscular
Bio: Rich pretty boy who was hit hard by life. When the rebellion hit, his family fortunes were scattered to the four winds. He tells the story with a measure of pride though, not pride of what he once was, but a respect for the lessons he learned. He had no real understanding of his family business before, he just lived off his parents, luxuriously. If not for the rebellion, and the damage it caused his father's companies, Porsc says he would never have learned anything about 'real' life. He figures he never would've learned he could be a Jedi either. Only when hard life broke his own ego, his own will, was he quite enough to notice other things, like the force. Now he's an eager student and a natural young leader at the academy. He and Mercy are the best two students there, and between the two of them many a practice is hosted without the masters, who are shorthanded and appreciative of the help. Unlike Mercy however, Porsc has that extra gift of inspiration, he's a natural centerpiece, well, when Luke or Kyle aren't there to outshine him.

Notes: Porsc excells at lightsaber skills, movement, both jumps and quick reflexes. He's perceptive and aware, althought his push and pull manipulations aren't the greatest. He's good with healing and can endure a great deal of punishment.
