Do you like Jazz? I am starting to enjoy this type of music in my old age or getting there.

I happen to like the Saxophone because it reminds a lot of the clarinet I used to play when I was young.

Indeed. In fact, I think I'm going to fire up the soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop after seeing this.

It really depends on the jazz.

Depends. Jazz is one of my favourite genres but there is definitely bad jazz.

I am not a fan of jazz that sounds like a collection of instruments playing different songs.

I actually like clarinets a lot. It's just the raspy sound of the saxophone (and soloists who like to take over the whole song with ridiculous embellishments) that I really don't like.

That, and it reminds me of the music they play at the eye doctor's office.

I actually grew up listening to jazz on old records (I was never a hipster or weird Millennial. It was honestly my whole childhood!). I always liked songs like "String of Pearls" and other Glenn Miller type jazz songs.

I like swing and select artists including Monk, Sinatra, and Diana Krall.

I like Jazz. From contemporary artists like Chris Potter, Medeski Martin & Wood, and The Bad Plus to classics like Dave Brubeck and Miles Davis. Although I don't listen to it all the time, it's one of my favorite genres.
