She is present-minded and action-oriented, and unlike her husband Martin does not have an overall goal but acts on the dictates of the relationships she has with people. All debts are to be paid and duties fulfilled. In this she is firm and inflexible.
Background: Born the youngest child of a noble family of Phelatia, Jasna was never a stranger to the underworld. The Lachesis bloodline has produced an endless stream of evil from time before memory, and her parents and four siblings are no exception. Her oldest sister Eden vanished into Anserak in search of dark powers. Her parents, Urien and Irene, and two sisters, Eris and Lysa, sided with the elves in the fall of Phelatia.
Growing up, Jasna fought for her family. She was yet too young to know their insane ways, but if she had she would have done no different; they were her family, the center of her life. She aided their power-hungry schemes and struggled to hold together the chaotic bonds within the Lachesis household. In the defense of her family’s reputation – which was terrible – she quickly learned the feel of a knife in her hand. Little appreciation was given her, but she was used, and so felt loved.
It was the second oldest, her brother Nyx, who betrayed her. By his hand she lost her virginity, and to cover his tracks Nyx took her outside Phelatia and attempted to bury her alive. She escaped with the power of base animal rage and swore that Nyx and her entire family would pay.
Lost, with nothing and no one to believe in, she wandered into Eyrel, where she fell into the care of Silyo and his people. She married Martin at sixteen, and they have been together for twenty years.
